W0S Titanic amateur radio special event station

2012 Titanic Special Event info:  

Branson, MO -   

100th Year Titanic Anniversary.

The dates have been set for the 2012 special  event.  Friday April 13th thru  Sunday April 15th, the call sign WØS will operate from  the steps of the Titanic Museum in beautiful downtown Branson Missouri. This event  commemorates the heroic efforts of Harold Bride and John "Jack" Phillips as they sat at the Marconi radio in the Titanic sending the first ever SOS. 


Note:  Last year the frequency I used to make contact was 14.275mhz.

INFO:  On Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10, the call sign WØS will be operated from the steps of the Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri.

The Amateur Radio Special Event Station will be located at the World's Largest Titanic Museum Attraction on Highway 76 in Branson, MO.

Three stations will operate simultaneously using SSB,and CW. All stations will be manned by operators from a consortium of clubs and non-club members from Southwest Missouri, as well as licensed visitors from outside the area.

I made my contact with W0S today on the frequency of 7.250mhz.
